Great run by Philly but run and gun only gets you so far. I think a lot of their youth started to show with penalties in the later parts of the series. Philly will be back as they have a great young core. NJ forechecking should be a clinic for other NHL teams. It's a sister league to a 30 team points only league that I've been co-commissioner of for the last three years. The 30 team league has been quite successful, so we've decided to spin off a sister roto league. The 11 GMs I currently have are from the 30 team sister league, so it should be fairly stable for a new league.

Here are the basics on the league format:

Roster Settings ... Weekly: every Monday, one hour before first game starts.

Roster: 23 man ... 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 3U, 5D, 2G, 4 Bench, 3 IR slots ... 3 goalie limit

Scoring Categories:
-Skaters ... G, A, +/-, Give Away/Take Away Ratio, SOGs, Shootout Goals, Hits, Blocks, PIMs, Special Team Points & GW goals (1 category)
-Goalies ... Ws, SOs, Saves, GAA
-if any skater cats are dropped we should also drop a goalie cat to keep goalies’ value in check

Keepers ... 14 keepers ... 1 goalie, 4 d-men, 8 forwards, 1 utility position. The 1 utility keeper cannot be a goalie ... it can only be a forward or d-man.
Farm team ... 23 players, 4 goalie limit

Since its beginning a few teams have risen up and contended that otherwise wouldn't have through the Devils, Dallas, Detroit, Colorado era. But this season the teams truly look the most balanced I have seen.
